How does the program work?

We make it as easy as possible for you to create new habits and experience incredible results. Our program is not a quick fix; it is a platform for making long term change in your life. You can either start with a Quickstart (7 days) or a Reboot (28 days), depending on your needs. Both programs include lunches and dinners (all of which are plant-based, tasty, and free of refined grains and sugar), education, and all the support you could possibly need from a personal coach. All of the meals are individually packaged, frozen, and delivered to you. After buying and completing one of these programs, you’ll have access to further options: one being our ongoing Plantable Subscription and the other being the ability to purchase One-time Boxes as desired. How does Plantable Subscription work?

After completing either the Quickstart or Reboot, you’ve officially become a member of our Plantable community! As a member you can log into your account and start a Plantable Subscription at the special member pricing of $155 per week. While on the subscription you’ll receive weekly boxes and each week have the ability to choose between the Chef’s Menu or Build Your Own Box. You can also skip deliveries or cancel your subscription at any time. Any changes must be made by Thursday 11:59pm EST prior to your upcoming Monday shipment. As an active member you also have continuous access to your coach and our private support community.

What if I do not want to be on a subscription?

No fear! If you prefer not to be on a subscription, anyone who completes a Quickstart or a Reboot also unlocks the ability to purchase One-time Boxes. This allows you to purchase one (or several!) boxes at a time, as desired. We have a One-time Chef’s Menu option, as well as a One-time A La Carte box option so that you can choose your favorite meals.

How does coaching work?

Once you sign up for the Quickstart or Reboot you will have full access to one of our coaches. You’ll start with an onboarding call so we can discuss your goals and any initial questions. Your coach will recommend recipes to supplement your Plantable meals and be available 24/7 for any questions you have. You can even ask your coach for help planning for what to do on a night out or a special occasion. Your coach will be available for you anytime, and however you like to communicate - calls, text, or email.

Does the menu repeat?

Yes, our menu repeats every four weeks. We also change our menu for each season, so we’re continuously introducing new menu items while keeping some of our most-loved meals, like the Hippie Brunch Burrito.

Is the food vegan? Vegetarian? Plant-based?

Our meals are whole-food, plant-based and vegan. Veggies, whole grains, legumes, seeds and nuts are truly the stars of the show here. Furthermore we do not use processed meat or dairy alternatives.

Is the food organic?

We source organic ingredients as much as possible and where it makes sense. But, we also love our local producers, some of whom have not yet obtained an organic certification.

Why is it frozen?

This isn’t your mom’s TV dinner. Freezing our meals allows us to retain all of the wonderful nutrient value. Furthermore, without adding any preservatives, our frozen meals allow for the flexibility busy lives demand. And remember when we said we love our local producers? Frozen meals prevent unnecessary food waste.

How are the meals packaged?

All of our meals are freshly made in our kitchen in Brooklyn, individually packaged in 100% recyclable, FDA-approved, BPA-free plastic pouches.

How do I store my meals? What about reheating?

We recommend you store the meals in the freezer and keep 1 or 2 days’ worth of food at any time in the refrigerator to thaw out naturally. Our meals last up to 8 weeks in the freezer, and up to 1 week in the fridge after they’ve thawed.

You’ll find heating instructions on the package of each meal. Plantable meals can be reheated on the stovetop, baked in the oven or microwaved for convenience.

Am I meant to only eat frozen food for 28 days?

In short, NO! We do the heavy lifting for you by making 6 lunches and 6 dinners each week. We strongly recommend that you add a side salad full of fresh, crunchy produce to your dinner each evening. We will provide side salad recipes for you, as well as Plantable-approved breakfast and snack recipes.

Will I get enough protein?

Absolutely. Plants and grains have protein too. Each meal is carefully designed to provide enough plant-based protein, healthy fats, and complex carbohydrates for a well-rounded nutrient profile. Clients with higher protein needs can work with their coach to plan protein-packed breakfasts and snacks to make sure they meet their goals.

I am very active; will I be hungry?

Plantable is about feeling good, not feeling hungry. If you work out consistently (kudos to you!), you may consider adding an extra snack or bulk up your side salad to ensure you’re meeting your needs. Your coach will help make sure you’re getting nutrients to support your lifestyle.

Does Plantable meet the needs of both men and women?

Yep! We encourage each client to listen to his or her own body. If you find yourself truly hungry (not “I’m bored and standing in front of the cupboard” hungry), we have protein-packed and satiating snack suggestions to help you out.

I have an allergy. Can I do Plantable?

All of our meals are prepared in our kitchen in Brooklyn and we take cross-contamination very seriously. However, if you have a life-threatening allergy, Plantable may not be for you. Email us at hello@plantable.com and we will try to accommodate as best we can.

Where and when do you deliver?

Good news, we deliver nationwide. Meals leave our Brooklyn-based kitchen on Mondays and depending on where you live, they will reach you 1-2 days later. We insulate our packages to ensure meals are frozen on arrival.

Whom should I contact if I need to update my order (address, delivery schedule, etc.)?

What is your cancellation policy?

We are confident you will love Plantable meals as much as we do. If at any point you are unsatisfied, you can cancel and receive a refund for any deliveries not yet shipped.
